I just finished listening to Minneapolis rapper Knonam’s album “Length of the Blade.” Ignoring the references to the mid-2000s, it feels like this album should have been released in 1994, not 2008. The songs range from insanely intense, to culturally aware, to just brilliant. Definitely recommend this album to any true hip-hop fan, as it’s become one of my recent favorites.
